Recap

Last session your travel north from Sterngate continued. You came across a ruined Warforged Colossus and after that you noticed some more signs of the war. Later, after you crossed the river, you were met by a goblin. He asked for “charity” to help maintain the road and keep it clear from bandits, but it ended up being an obvious scam. Battle ensued and even thou some came close to death, the goblins were dealt with. You travelled on and as the sun was setting you came to the outskirts of Dawnhaven.

Session Notes

The group arrives in Dawnhaven. Met by random villagers who fetch Eldra. The group (especially Sarodan) are somewhat suspicious of the villagers and their intention. He finds that the story of the Black Talons is lacking and maybe not true. Sarodan decides to sleep outside the village due to his suspicion and to keep an eye on the village from afar. Davira examines the Steel Bound Journal and remembers that she took a course and knows how to interpret the inscription. She finds out that it belonged to a warforged soldier. It contained some destroyed mission logs, but mainly a personal account of her own journey of figuring out identity and what it means to have a soul. Her name was Jaina. The last date mentioned was during 992 YK.
