Recap
The group arrives in Sterngate after an uneventful last leg of their journey aboard the Lightning Rail. Davira attempts to act as if they’re tourists in the area and manages to get directions to the local tavern where the group should be able to get directions to Dawnhaven. They enter the inn and are greeted by Elara, a grizzled war-veteran who is now running the tavern. After some drinks and stories she tells the group how they can find Dawnhaven by following the road north and taking right after the river. As the rest of the group goes to bed, Thirteen decides to find some fellow patrons whom he can play cards with. Rather, he is greeted by racism as the patrons he approaches are not looking kindly at Warforged. He then decides to go up to his room. The morning after, the group gets ready to leave Sterngate and travel towards Dawnhaven. There is heavy rain, but they are keen as start travelling at a fast pace. The first day of travel goes smoothly, aside from a part of the river being flooded and they having to get creative for everyone to cross safely. They make camp for the night, but due to them being out in the wilderness, they aren’t able to find a secure spot where they can rest safely. Alas, no long rest.
Session Notes
Wake up. They come across the Warforged Ruin. Took rolls a Nat20 on the Investigation check and manages to find some oil, steel wire and rubber hose. He also finds a Steel Bound Journal. Some great RP happening at the site. Encounter with Goblins. Looks a bit rough to start, but they work it out and kill the goblins in the end. Gain 5 WP each and some rusty old weapons. Travel onwards and end session as they arrive outside Dawnhaven.
