(Start with this narration after the party has gathered themselves and is ready to leave the Decontamination Chamber)

“With your new purpose burning in your hearts and the echoes of Tira Miron’s voice in your souls, you follow Rock and Scouts deeper into the tunnels. The descent is immediate. The pristine white corridors of the upper labs quickly give way to older, heavier construction—reinforced industrial passages of bare metal and stone.

The only light comes from the faint, pulsing red of emergency beacons, casting long, dancing shadows down the silent halls. The only sound is the scuff of your boots on the floor and the occasional ambient puff of magic from the conduits in the walls.”

(This is your first opportunity to open the floor for roleplaying.)

DM to the players: “As you walk in this tense silence, what’s the mood of the group? Is anyone speaking? What are you thinking about in the immediate aftermath of Tira’s vision?”

(After they've had a chance to interact, continue the journey.)

“For what feels like an hour, you navigate a maze of silent factory floors and maintenance tunnels, guided by Scouts’ memory of the facility’s schematics. The sheer scale of this dead place is humbling. But the oppressive despair of the Mournland that once clung to you feels distant now, held at bay by the divine fire in your souls. There’s a new confidence in your stride, a sharpness in your eyes.”

(This is a great spot for a more focused roleplaying prompt, perhaps directed at the characters with the most tension or the most to process.)

DM to Toriman or Elrath: “Toriman/Elrath, as you walk behind Took, what are you thinking? Does his presence still anger you, or has the vision changed your perspective?”

DM to Davira or Sarodan: “Davira/Sarodan, as scholars of the arcane, what does this new, divine power feel like compared to the magic you’re used to wielding? Is it different? How so?”

(After any further roleplaying, you can deliver the final part of the montage as they arrive.)

“The environment begins to change again. The air grows warmer, and it carries a new scent—the faint, metallic tang of ozone, like the air after a lightning strike. You can feel a low, almost sub-sonic hum through the soles of your boots, the sign of immense, dormant power.

As you feel this, you can each feel the new gift settling into your spirit. Briefly, how does this new power feel to you? Does your chosen boon manifest in any small, visible way?”

(Let each player give a quick, one-sentence description. e.g., "Took feels a new certainty in his grip," "#13 feels a faint silver light behind his eyes," "Toriman's feet seem to almost float for a second.")

“Finally, Scouts leads you around a final corner and stops. Before you stands a massive, circular adamantine door, far older and more ornate than any you’ve seen before. ‘This is it,’ he whispers, his voice filled with awe. ‘The Heart of Making.‘”
